Glass block was widely used in commercial and institutional construction from the 1930s through the 1970s. Many of these original installations remain in service today — in schools, municipal buildings, churches, factories, and other historic structures throughout Upstate New York.
Restoring historic glass block requires a different approach than standard replacement.
